R&E's 2011 class newsletter

Wednesday 9/29/11 : We had writing today. We were working on the paragraphs if I was any super hero, and One friday morning I walked into Mrs.Starr’s classroom and was shocked to see.....

I loved to read all my classmate’s work on our class blog!
We also had gym today. We played soccer in our gym class. The white team defeated the green team 1-0.

Thursday 9/30/11:

Today we had guidance. We learned the difference between what someone does on purpose and on accident. When someone does something on purpose it means that they meant to do it.

We also had music class today. We put the finishing touches on our garage band project for on top of old smokey using instruments.

Friday 9/31/11:

Today in library we signed out some new books.

We also had science with Mrs. Fortier today. This week is  all about the earth.

Monday 10/3/11: Today we started a game on the integer addition, subtraction multiplication and division. We also played Bizz Buzz where we use the number seven and go through all the numbers until someone doesn’t say bizz or buzz.

On Tuesday we continued reading The Cay. Philip was stranded on a raft and eventually went blind. SO SAD!!

BUT THAT'S NOT THE END

  1. Dear Erin and Becca,
Thank you for documenting our class learning. I think that you did a great job being creative and I also like how you included your learning during specials! I think you can improve by putting captions with our photos to explain what learning is taking place and perhaps, clump learning by subject instead of by day. All in all, a nice first job!

  2. PS Another area that I think you can improve is the detail in your writing...it was often times vague and did not accurately reflect our class learning.

  3. I liked your newsletter. You did not have any typos or grammer issues. Yyou also explained what we were doing in reading, math and all that other cool stuff. You can improve by not having it by day but by subject. all in all, good job

  6. Dear Erin and Becca,
You did a good job in taking pictures and making funny photos. You did a really good job in explaining, telling what we did last week. You could improve by adding captions like who was in the photos, explaining more of our subjects and having the photos more realted to school. All in all, that was a very good first time making the class newsletter.

  8. Erin and Becca I think you did a good job with some of the pictures BUT some of them weren't needed. Also the topics were not all together like you would say one thing about writing and than you would say something about math. Another thing is, You should write more. Look at Jalyn's and Robert's the wrote a ton. All in all I think you did a good job with STUFF but changing those things would make it better.

  9. I am responding to Rebecca and Erin's Class newsletter.

I think you did a good job with your newsletter for many reasons. The first reason is you made funny pictures, and you did your spelling correctly. Second, you did a good job of getting a variety of things instead of mostly pictures of classmates and two activities we do.Lastly, you did a good job by taking pictures of me when I didn't know. GREAT JOB, By Jaden S
